Digital sovereignty through open source
The decision of the federal state underlines the consistent path towards digital independence in the public sector. OpenTalk impressed with its open source architecture, full GDPR compliance and functions that are specifically tailored to administrative requirements. These include audit-proof reconciliations, barrier-free use in accordance with BITV 2.0 and seamless integration into existing administrative structures.
Operation takes place in the BSI-certified Twin Data Center data center, which means that all communication data remains in a secure, sovereign infrastructure.
Signal effect for other federal states
With this decision, Schleswig-Holstein is taking on a pioneering role in the digital transformation of public administration. Together with Thuringia, two federal states are already using OpenTalk as a central video conferencing solution for their state authorities.
We are delighted that the federal state has placed its trust in us and are proud to support its path to greater digital independence.
