The Univention Summit - the open source event for digital sovereignty, open standards and innovative IT solutions - will take place in Bremen from January 28 to 29, 2026. On 28 January at 11:30 a.m. on the Public Stage, Daniel Zielke (Director of Strategic Partnerships) and Dennis Kalbhen (Director of Technical Services) will show how organizations can protect confidential meetings and strengthen digital sovereignty. The workshop is aimed at decision-makers and IT managers who want to design their communication infrastructure to the highest security standards.
Panel discussion: Requirements for the German stack
On 29 January at 11:00 a.m. on the Main Stage, Jutta Horstmann, Co-CEO of the Heinlein Group, will discuss the technical and organizational requirements for the planned German stack with experts. The focus will be on digital sovereignty, the role of open source and the feasibility of the platform.

Dr. Jörn Dreyer will give an overview of the official Helm Chart for OpenCloud on January 29 at 11:30 a.m. on the Tech Stage and show how productive Kubernetes deployments can be implemented in a scalable and confident manner.
